Only a short time after the company was taken over by Dipl.-Ing. Reza Mahllati and in the middle of the second corona lockdown, we received great news: We have successfully mastered the scientific selection process with over 120 test criteria in the Top 100 innovation competition and received the TOP 100 award for our innovative strength. A nice distinction and reward for the hard work of our whole team!

Cancellations, a collapse in orders and lost sales - that's how many companies end their first quarter of 2020. We have been hit hard too, by the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead of bust one´s head in the sand, we developed the MEXS 400 as the first modular measuring and testing system - a revolutionary world first innovation that goes beyond the previously known limits of automated measuring and testing systems and redefines flexibility.

Mr. Dip.-Ing. Reza Mahllati became the new owner and managing director. With his versatile knowledge of different branches and decade long experience in general management as well as in international sales and distribution we are more than confident about our prospects in the upcoming years and are looking forward to a continued and healthy growth with you as esteemed (future) business partner.

After having the courage to found the company and 30 years of great personal commitment it is time for the GmbH and their employees to express a heartfelt thank you to Angelika and Otamr Moll and to wish them all the best for their well-earned retirement in their further course of life.

On the occasion of our anniversary and after 30 years of company history we thank of course first of all our employees, without their commitment such a success story would have not been possible. We also thank our business partners, companions and suppliers for the years, even decades for a fruitful cooperation and trust. We will begin the upcoming years with thousand ideas of new innovative machine concepts, applications and clever automation solutions for you.

In the meantime we built the approprate machines for a broad variety of applications: crack testing, inside depth testing, inspection of profiles, 360°camera testing, mounting systems, screwdriver, grouting, joining technology and many more. We would be pleased to add your application to our success story.

The material changes – we stay! Plastic has long since changed from its „plastic image“ to an innovative material and is impressive in many areas with its many versatile, innovative properties coupled with cost efficiency. For us it was a logical consequence also for plastic parts to offer a customized solution for quality control.

We celebrate the past quarter of the century of our company anniversary with business partners, companions and family in an in-house exhibition and with a just as large jumping castle for young and old. Maybe you have also been part of it? All employees enjoyed the party and had great memories of those past days with all the small and large milestones in the history of our company.

We explore the international „WIRE“ trade fair in Düsseldorf as a new platform for our machines, instruments and accessories. With a booth of 30 m² and exhitits from the crack testing sector, up to the optical testing, mounting systems as well as special machines we provide for all interested parties personal advice and on site demonstration of our supply range.

We are taking stock. The past 20 years are characterized of healthy growth and continous development both in the company and in our test systems. We are known internationally for smart special solutions, deliver Europe-wide and offer in addition a personal and fast after-sales service.

Even at the risk of repeating ourselves: We continue to grow and expand our production hall by 200m². As with this extension also remarkable storage capacities have been added allowing us to stock large parts of our popular items and to act even quicker on spare parts- and service purchase orders.

After extensive development work and the production of first probes in ther previous year we are now able to test aluminium parts by means of eddy current technology. This opens up new possibilities and a growing customer base.

With our own distance-compensation-technology we achieve improved result evaluations at the eddy current crack detection by digital signal processing. Thanks to the appropriate software „LAW Scope“ distorted measured values by changes in the distance remain a thing of the past.

Through the development of the past years, our spacer-requirement also rises steadily: Another move was inevitable:. We built a complete new building with a llarge production facility in the industrial area „ Zollhaus“ in Schiesheim. In the 15 years company’s history, we now have enlarged our business premises by a factor of 20 in comparison to the founding year.

Quality is mass-produced! We have become big in the .screw testing sector and have made a name in the past years. One of many positive result is a small serie of 4 complete testing units for a large fastener manufacturing company: From the screw feeding through the measuring and the crack testing up to the packing of the acceptable parts – all from a single source!

Even after 12 years and lots of in-house developments we are not discouraged. For the satisfaction of individual customer requests „off the peg“ products are not sufficient. The same applies to the software field. We combine our know-how and the requests of our clients for tailor-made software solutions. Due to the digitalisation measurements at sprockets toothing can be performed.

Mr. Kaiser becomes part of the company management and further expanded the technical and constructive development as well as the increasing automation of the checking processes. The main goal here is to provide the client a smart complete solution, which combines sophisticated technology, functionality and efficiency.

For the new millenium we renamed Fa. LAW-NDT Meß- und Prüfsysteme Vertriebs GmbH in LAW-NDT Meß- und Prüfsysteme GmbH. Within the last years our competences developed way above our commercial agency we set a clear signal externally.

The construction of the ultrasonic testing machine for the „Deutsche Bundesbahn“ set a milestone for our 5-man machine construction team. This also showed more and more the transformation of the Vertriebs GmbH into a reputable mechanical engineering company positioning further to a recognized manufacturer of individual testing systems.

At the 10th anniversaryof the company we moved: Now with almost 200 square meter of office and production hall the growing machine construction can unfold even further.

With Mr. Kaiser a creative throughbred engineer joined the company. With his technical expertise and sector knowledge in the machine industry we are able to design and offer moe and more in-house developments and constructions.

The company is growing – so do our clients . With a test system for axle shafts on behalf of a well-known car manufacturer, we were rewarded since then to become a direct supplier for the automotive sector.

The construction of an in-house crack detection system pushed further in-house developments such as our own eddy-current crack detection system TYPE WRP. With these instruments we can combine our expert-knowledge in the field of crack testing in an in-house development „Made in Germany“ which has proven time and again to be the right choice to this very day.

More than just great random sampling. To match further customer needs we designed- still with paper and pencil- the first crack-detection system for 100 % control in the production line. At this point of time no one was really aware that the cornerstone was laid for a restructuring process from a sales agency to a developer and manufacturer of crack detection systems.

The first trade fair participation, one year after foundation of the company turned out to be a small but successful adventure. Design and Customer Relation Management were no issue at the time: nevertheless we could persuade with functional instruments for conductivity- eddy current and crack detection.

The story of our GmbH begins on 29.10.1988 under trade register No. 3494, as a one-man company for test devices from the USA. „LAW-NDT Meß- und Prüfsysteme Vertriebs GmbH“ import, marketing, repair and service were independently processed only by Mr. Moll on 20m² office space.
